Supreme Court on Monday affirmed the election victory of Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia as the Governor of Benue state.
The Apex Court also dismissed the appeal by the Peoples Democratic Party and its candidate in the Benue governorship election, Titus Uba.

Benue governorship election petitions tribunal and the court of appeal in Abuja had upheld Hyacinth Alia as governor of Benue state.
Not satisfied with the judgments, Uba approached the apex court for redress.
