Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has been released by the Nigerian police after an initial refusal on Sunday, attributed to the Easter break.

Initially, authorities cited a lack of personnel available to process his release due to the Easter celebration.

However, following public outcry and pressure, VeryDarkMan was eventually freed.

He had been detained over allegations of online misconduct, particularly for accusing controversial figure Bobrisky of engaging in homosexuality with Nigerian lawmakers and police officials.

Despite meeting bail conditions, VeryDarkMan was reportedly held in custody as authorities allegedly sought to punish him for his accusations.
