Joshua Rogers, a reporter for Channels Television, who was abducted near his residence in Rumuosi, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, has regained his freedom. He was released around 10pm on Friday, according to confirmation from his colleague Charles Oporum. Oporum stated that Rogers has reunited with his family following his release.

The management of Channels Television also confirmed Rogers’ release in a brief statement, expressing gratitude to viewers and concerned individuals for their support during the unfortunate incident.

Rogers serves as the Government House correspondent for Channels TV in Port Harcourt.
