Prophet Ebuka Obi of Zion Prayer Movement Outreach has disassociated himself from a woman who recently testified in his church, claiming she purchased a house worth ₦500 million.
In a viral video circulating on social media, the cleric denied any personal connection to the woman and accused her of fabricating the testimony, stating that she lied before God and on the church’s altar.
The controversy erupted after it was revealed that the woman’s claim was false, sparking widespread reactions online.
Addressing the matter, Obi clarified that she was simply one of many individuals who come forward to share testimonies and that he had no prior relationship with her.
“I said it last month that my name would be all over the media. The media is making it look real, but it’s all fake,” he said, dismissing the controversy surrounding the false testimony.
