Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo has emphatically stated that he has no apologies for his long-standing friendship with President Bola Tinubu, despite the two being from different political parties.
Soludo made the declaration on Tuesday following a visit with President Tinubu at the State House in Abuja.
Notably, he wore a cap emblazoned with inscriptions showing support for Tinubu, who is eyeing a 2027 re-election bid.
“I have no apologies about it. President Tinubu is my friend, has been my friend, (for) 22 years now and counting,” Soludo said.
He further affirmed his admiration for the President’s economic reforms:
“So, you don’t deny your friend. He is my friend. I support him, I am impressed by the bold steps he has taken, particularly in the area of the economy.”
The moment reflects a deeply personal loyalty that transcends party lines, APGA’s Soludo expressing unabashed support for APC’s Tinubu.
