Mbah has proven himself to be a steady and responsible hand on the wheel of leadership. His vision for greater Enugu which is our collective dream is clearly demonstrated by his unwavering commitment to investment in infrastructure development, economic reforms, modernization of agriculture as a strategic step towards food productivity and the initiatives in the education, transport and tourism sectors, thereby making the state a model of good governance in Nigeria.
Mbah’s leadership journey so far reflects a genuine commitment to transformative leadership which is redefining democratic governance in Nigeria, focusing on action, empathy, and development amidst challenges.
Under Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, the governor of Enugu State, we are seeing democracy through infrastructure that works, effective services delivery, and opportunities that uplift. He has ostensibly demonstrated that democracy is a social contract which it’s credibility and values are measured not only at the ballot box, but in the quality of life it creates and sustains. He has shown that good governance is the engine that drives the collective aspirations of the people, ensuring that institutions function efficiently and equitably, and that the government remains responsive to the needs, dignity, and legitimate expectations of the people.
The unprecedented achievements and development witnessed by Enugu people under Mbah’s administration in all sectors are political education in physical form. They teach the citizens that governance is real, leadership is purposeful, and the state does not exist as an abstraction, but as a servant of the common good.
There is no doubt that development does not occur by accident. Infrastructural growth, social inclusion, and economic transformation are outcomes of deliberate vision, disciplined execution, and political courage.

In Enugu State , Mbah has moved beyond promise to performance. This is evident in the construction of 300 bed International hospital, International conference Centre, operation of Enugu Air, Smart Schools initiative, farm estate programme , revamping of Niger Gas, procurement of modern security gadgets for combating insecurity , modernization of the transport system, the new Enugu City and construction of many roads both in the urban and rural areas.
The 2026 budget which has been passed into law is designed to address Enugu State’s most pressing needs, with a strong focus on sectors that directly impact citizens’ welfare. It reflects the government’s commitment to sustainable development, improved service delivery, and accountability.
All these have been possible due to the Governor Mbah’s pragmatic, visionary, courageous leadership and unwavering commitments to governance which has taken Enugu to unimaginable and uncommon height thereby repositioning the state as a model for good governance in Nigeria.
