U.S President Donald Trump on Monday issued a stern warning to Iran, urging the country to return to the negotiating table amid its ongoing tensions with Israel.

Speaking to reporters during a G7 summit in Canada, Trump said Iran is faring poorly in its confrontation with Israel and should consider immediate talks to avoid further deterioration.

“They have to make a deal, and it’s painful for both parties, but I’d say Iran is not winning this war, and they should talk, and they should talk immediately, before it’s too late,” Trump stated.

His comments come amid heightened hostilities between Iran and Israel, with growing concerns about a broader regional conflict.

Trump has repeatedly pressured Iran to engage in fresh talks following his administration’s withdrawal from the 2015 nuclear deal..
