Comfort Emmanson, the air passenger involved in a high-profile altercation with Ibom Air crew on August 10, has received a wave of support following her court discharge and release from Kirikiri Prison.
Businessman Oga Uby stepped forward with two generous offers: he gifted her a brand-new iPhone 16 Pro Max to replace the one damaged during the incident and secured her a four-year ambassadorship contract with Tubex Logistics Services.
“I have donated an iPhone 16 Pro Max to the Ibom passenger, Comfort Emmanson, to replace the phone that was damaged during the altercation with Ibom Air,” Uby said.
“I also endorsed her for a four-year contract with our company as our brand ambassador.”
Earlier in the week, Ossai Ovie Success, senior special assistant on media to the Delta State Governor, offered Emmanson a job in Delta State with a monthly salary of ₦500,000 and an all-expenses-paid trip to the Delta Social Media Summit in Asaba on August 28.
“All expenses, including flight tickets, five‑star hotel accommodation, and tour costs, will be fully covered,” Ossai said.
“This is to help her relax after her release from prison.”
Further support came from real estate developer Emmanuel Chukwudi Nwafor, who pledged Emmanson a plot of land in Katampe Extension, FCT, allowing her to choose any size and build immediately:
“She’s free to choose whichever plot size she wants and can build immediately,” Nwafor wrote.
Billionaire businessman Francis Van‑Lare also offered to sponsor her travel to Qatar and Turkey.
The generosity comes on the heels of Emmanson’s discharge from court, after the prosecution withdrew the five-count charge and the lifting of her no-fly ban.
