The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Barrister Ifeoma Azikiwe, the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), as the winner of the Onitsha South State Constituency bye-election held on Saturday.
Azikiwe emerged victorious after securing over 7,000 votes, defeating her closest rival, Mrs. Azuka of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), in a keenly contested race.
The bye-election was conducted to fill a vacant seat in the Anambra State House of Assembly.
