The candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Henrietta Bulabari, has been declared winner of the Khana II State House of Assembly Constituency bye-election in Rivers State.

The Returning Officer, Angela Briggs, announced that Bulabari polled 7,647 votes to emerge victorious, having met the constitutional requirements.

According to the results released at the end of the exercise, the vote tally stood as follows: AA secured 46 votes, APC 7,647, NNPP 37, YPP 23, and ZLP 47.

Data from the poll showed that out of 71,914 registered voters, 7,834 were accredited to vote. A total of 7,800 votes were declared valid, while 34 ballots were rejected.

Party agents monitored the collation and declaration of the results.

Reacting to her victory, Bulabari expressed delight over the outcome, describing the election as free, fair and peaceful.

She pledged to initiate impactful constituency projects and ensure effective representation for the people of Khana II.
