Hon. Chidi Concord Yakubu, former Special Assistant to the immediate past governor of Enugu state, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, on Sunday received the Most Performed State Appointee Award from the leadership of Igbo-eze North People’s Forum.

Founder of the group, Dr. Crescent Ezeh who presented the award at the Forum’s 4th Anniversary held in Enugu, lauded Yakubu’s immense contribution to the development of Igbo-eze North local Government.

The event with the theme “Reconciliation, Reformation & Collaboration; Key to Unity and Development” attracted notable political stalwarts, national and state legislators, as well as other critical stakeholders.

Daily Gazette reports that it was a convergence of who is who in Igbo-eze North who came to brainstorm on how to move the council forward.

Dr. Ezeh while commending Yakubu for raising the bar in strengthening service delivery campaign and championing good governance in Igbo-eze North underscores the importance of giving back to the society.

According to him, the award is in recognition of Yakubu’s dedication and support in achieving the vision and mission of Igbo-eze North People’s Forum.

Ezeh described Hon. Chidi Concord as a mentor and role model for the youths. Hon. Chidi Concord  

“Your continuous pursuit of excellence and contribution to the growth of good governance makes you a worthy recipient of this prestigious award” he added.

Responding, Hon. Chidi Concord applauded the leadership of the Forum for it’s people oriented programs aimed at improving the welfare of Ndi Igbo-eze North and thanked them for finding him worthy of the award.

He however called on elected officials to use their positions to serve the people.
