Justice John Okoro of the Supreme Court on Monday reserved judgement in Ebonyi governorship election appeal.

This was after both parties adopted their briefs of argument.

Court of Appeal in Lagos had affirmed the victory of Chief Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru as the duly elected governor of Ebonyi State.

Three member panel led by Justice Jummai Sankey dismissed the appeal filed by Chukwuma Odii of the Peoples Democratic Party for lacking in merit and resolved all five issues raised against the appellant.

According to Justice Sankey, the PDP and its candidate has no legal right to meddle in the internal affairs of the All Progressives Congress as it relates to the nomination of candidates.
