The people of Amofia/Amagu Autonomous Community, Nara Clan, in Nkanu East Local Government Area, have extended heartfelt congratulations to the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, and other political officeholders from the area on the occasion of their second year in office.

In a statement jointly signed by the President General, Chief Samuel Ogbu, and the Secretary General, Comr. Joshua Ede, the community commended Governor Mbah and his Deputy, Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai, for what they described as “pragmatic, impactful, and people-oriented leadership.”

Also celebrated were Hon. Okey Mbah, member representing Nkanu East Constituency in the Enugu State House of Assembly, and Rt. Hon. Nnolim Nnaji, member representing Nkanu East/West Federal Constituency at the National Assembly.

The community praised their efforts in ensuring quality representation and championing development initiatives in the region.

Particular recognition was given to the Executive Chairman of Nkanu East LGA, Hon. Sydney Okechukwu Ede, for the successful completion of the Ojorowo Bridge, a critical infrastructure project that has improved connectivity and boosted local economic activities.

“The completion of this project is a testament to responsive governance. It brings not just physical connection but a renewed sense of hope to our people,” the statement noted.

Describing the achievements as a sign of better things to come, the community declared, “Indeed, our tomorrow is here.”
