In a letter addressed to the PDP Chairman of Amechi Idodo Ward on Wednesday, which he personally signed, Chief Ani, who previously served as a member of the Enugu State Basic Education Board, stated that his decision to leave the party followed “careful consideration” and personal reflection.

He expressed gratitude to the PDP for the support he received during his tenure as a two-term Chairman of Nkanu East LGA, as well as for the valuable experiences and personal growth he gained through his involvement in the party.

In a telephone interview with DAILY GAZETTE, Chief Ani confirmed that he is now aligning with the All Progressives Congress (APC), under the leadership of the Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Uche Nnaji.
