The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has debunked a purported 2025 timetable for nationwide congresses and related activities, describing it as false and misleading.
In a statement issued on Sunday by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the APC clarified that it did not release or authorise any such schedule currently circulating across social media platforms.
“The attention of the APC has been drawn to a document titled ‘APC 2025 Schedule of Nationwide Congress and Related Activities’ making the rounds on social media,” the statement read.
“Our great party wishes to state clearly that the purported timetable was neither issued nor approved by the party. It should be disregarded in its entirety as fake news,” Morka added.
He urged members of the public, party faithful, and the media to rely only on official statements and verified communication channels of the APC for authentic information regarding its activities.
