Senator Ned Nwoko has accused his wife’s siblings of introducing her to drugs, claiming their actions undermined her rehabilitation process.

The lawmaker, recently in the news over marital disputes, shared his side of the story following accusations from Regina’s family that he used his influence against them, particularly after the arrest of her brother, Sammy West.

In a lengthy social media post, Nwoko said Regina’s immediate circle resisted her efforts to leave a destructive lifestyle.

He explained that during her rehabilitation, doctors had instructed strict limits on who could interact with her, particularly those enabling her drug use.

“Unfortunately, Sammy, Destiny, and some of their siblings, along with friends including Sonia Uche Montana, repeatedly defied these rules,” Nwoko wrote.

“They entered the house uninvited and brought her the same substances she was being treated for. Instead of supporting her recovery, they encouraged her addiction and obstructed the efforts of her doctors and therapists.”

He added that several family members, including Sammy and Lawrence, were themselves involved with the substances and were the ones who initially introduced Regina to them.

“I do not drink alcohol nor smoke, and I am a vegetarian. So, witnessing these behaviors was completely unacceptable,” he said.

Nwoko recounted a recent incident where he found Regina in his room under the influence, accompanied by Sammy’s girlfriend, who was among those enabling her addiction.

After asking the woman to leave, he said Sammy confronted him aggressively and had to be removed from the property by security.

He also alleged that Regina’s siblings verbally assaulted police officers and domestic staff tasked with ensuring her recovery.

“Whenever Regina wanted to go out unsupervised, she became extremely hostile toward staff, shouting, threatening, and insisting on leaving the house regardless of the rules,” Nwoko said.
