Senator Okey Ezea, who represents Enugu North Senatorial Zone, has reportedly died.
DAILY GAZETTE gathered that the senator passed away on Tuesday while receiving treatment in the United Kingdom.
A source, speaking on condition of anonymity, revealed that Ezea had previously been treated in Germany.
While the exact circumstances of his death remain unclear, reactions have begun pouring in across social media platforms.
Ezea, popularly known as Ideke, was the only remaining Labour Party member in the National Assembly from Enugu State, following the defection of other lawmakers to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
