The estate of the late Senator Simon Cyprian Ayogu Eze, including Simonis Ventures Nigeria Limited, has become embroiled in an ongoing legal battle, prompting a public warning against any form of business or commercial dealings with the estate pending the resolution of the case.

In a public notice dated January 12, 2026, Adeji Adeyanju disclosed that issues relating to the administration, management, and control of the late senator’s estate are currently before the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

According to the notice, the matter is being handled by Honourable Justice Oriji in Suit No. FCT/HC/CV/1008/2025, where the court is expected to determine disputes surrounding the estate’s affairs.

Adeyanju informed the general public, prospective investors, business partners, financial institutions, and other stakeholders that the estate of the late Senator Ayogu Eze, including Simonis Ventures Nigeria Limited (RC: 195105), is presently under litigation.

He warned that, in view of the subsisting court proceedings, individuals and organisations should refrain from entering into any business or commercial transactions involving Simonis Ventures Nigeria Limited or any other component of the estate until the suit is finally determined.

Adeyanju further cautioned that anyone who proceeds with such engagements while the legal process is ongoing does so entirely at their own risk.

He described the notice as a formal alert aimed at protecting investors, banks, and the general public as the legal proceedings over the estate continue before the FCT High Court.
