The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has concluded arrangements to arraign former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, alongside one Joel Adoga, before the Federal High Court sitting in Kaduna on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.

The Commission disclosed this on Monday in a statement issued by its Head of Media and Public Communications, John Okor Odey.

According to the statement, the suit, marked FHC/KD/73/2026, borders on allegations including conversion and possession of public property, as well as money laundering.

IICPC further revealed that a separate charge involving El-Rufa’i and one Amadu Sule of the Kaduna State Livestock Development Agency (LEDA) has been filed before the Kaduna State High Court.

The state case, referenced KDH/KAD/ICPC/01/26, reportedly contains allegations ranging from abuse of office and fraud to intent to commit fraud and conferring undue advantage. Both charges were filed on March 18, 2026.

While the date for arraignment at the State High Court is yet to be fixed, the Commission confirmed that El-Rufa’i has been duly served.

Reaffirming its stance, the ICPC emphasized its commitment to due process and strict adherence to the rule of law.
