Veteran Nollywood actress Chioma Chukwuka has emerged winner of the ‘Best Lead Actress’ category at the 2025 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA), thanks to her riveting performance in the acclaimed film “Seven Doors.”
Her win celebrates a career marked by consistency, depth, and emotional range, as she brought powerful storytelling to life through her portrayal in the movie.
The role further cemented her place as one of Nollywood’s most respected and versatile performers.
Chukwuka triumphed in a highly competitive field, beating out a strong lineup of contenders that included Gbubemi Ejeye (“Farmer’s Bride”), Uzoamaka Onuoha (“Agemo”), Uche Montana (“Thin Line”), Uzoamaka Aniunoh (“Phoenix Fury”), Hilda Dokubo (“Wives on Strike 3”), and Bimbo Ademoye (“Anikulapo: Rise of the Spectre”).
