Morayo Afolabi-Brown, the prominent host of Your View and Managing Director of TVC Entertainment, has announced her resignation from TVC Communications, bringing her 12-year tenure with the media organization to a close.
The news was confirmed in a statement released on Monday by Edward Akintara, TVC’s Manager of PR, Corporate Communications & Marketing.
According to the statement, Morayo’s final day at the network will be Thursday, August 29, 2025.
TVC revealed that Morayo’s departure is to allow her pursue a personal passion project she has long envisioned.
“We celebrate her for the incredible impact she has made, not only on Your View, but also to millions of viewers across Nigeria and beyond,” the network stated.
Morayo’s exit marks a major transition for Your View, the popular talk show she has anchored and helped grow into one of Nigeria’s most influential daytime programmes.
TVC described her contribution to the platform as pivotal, while reassuring viewers that the show would continue without disruption.
“Morayo will be dearly missed, however, the show remains strong and will continue to deliver the quality and relevance our audience has come to expect,” the statement added.
TVC Communications expressed deep gratitude for her service, describing her as a respected leader and role model within the organization.
“Her legacy at TVC Communications will endure, and she will always remain a cherished member of the TVC family,” the company concluded, extending their best wishes as she embarks on her next chapter.
