The University of Benin (UNIBEN) has announced the release of results for its recently concluded Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise.

Candidates can now access their scores through their individual profiles on the university’s portal.

The development was confirmed on Tuesday in a statement by the institution’s Public Relations Officer, Dr. Benedicta Ehanire, who also clarified the current status of the admission process.

Ehanire urged candidates to disregard the “NOT ADMITTED” message that may appear on their portals, explaining that the admission process has officially begun and is scheduled to run until October 31, in line with the timeline set by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

“All candidates who scored 50 per cent and above in the screening exercise are eligible for consideration,” Ehanire stated, adding that selection would be based on UNIBEN’s approved admission guidelines.

She assured applicants that further details regarding the admission process would be made available in due course.

The release marks the formal start of UNIBEN’s 2025/2026 undergraduate admissions, with thousands of hopefuls across Nigeria awaiting placement into the institution’s various academic programmes.
