The name of Professor Isa Ali Pantami, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirant in Gombe State, is missing from the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) final list of candidates for the 2027 governorship election.
The omission was confirmed in INEC documents released on Saturday, raising questions about Pantami’s status in the forthcoming governorship race.
Pantami, a former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, is seeking to contest the Gombe governorship election on the platform of the PDP.
