Nigeria’s men’s basketball team, D’Tigers, continued their impressive run at the 2025 AfroBasket Championship in Angola, cruising to an emphatic 87-66 victory over Tunisia on Friday.

The win marks their second consecutive triumph in the tournament, further solidifying their position as one of the teams to watch.

Star guard, Josh Okogie, led the charge for Nigeria, delivering a standout performance with 33 points, putting on a show of skill, precision, and leadership on the court.

His efforts were instrumental in keeping Tunisia at bay throughout the game.

The D’Tigers started strong, establishing early dominance with a 29-16 lead at the end of the first quarter.

They maintained that momentum through the remaining quarters, never allowing Tunisia a chance to close the gap.
