The All Progressives Congress (APC) has unveiled a detailed schedule for its 2025/2026 nationwide congresses, leading up to the party’s national convention.

The announcement was made on Saturday by the APC National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru, via his verified X (formerly Twitter) handle.

According to the timetable, the process begins with membership e-registration from Monday, December 1, 2025, running until January 30, 2026.

Notices for state and Federal Capital Territory (FCT) congresses will be issued on February 2, 2026.

The purchase and submission of forms for ward and local government area (LGA) congresses are scheduled between February 4 and February 9, with screening committees inaugurated on February 10.

Screening of aspirants will take place from February 11 to 13.

Ward congresses are slated for February 18, with appeals heard on February 19.

LGA congresses, including the election of three delegates (one female), will be held on February 20, followed by appeals on February 21.

At the state level, forms for executive positions will be available from February 23 to 27, with screening and appeals extending into early March.

State congresses are scheduled for Saturday, March 7, 2026, with subsequent appeals from March 9 to 11.

The schedule then moves to zonal congresses and preparations for the national convention.

Forms for zonal congresses will be submitted between March 12 and 17, followed by inauguration and screening on March 18 to 20.

Zonal congresses across the six geopolitical zones will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, with appeals scheduled for March 23.

The zonal offices are Ibadan (South West), Enugu (South East), Rivers/Cross River (South South), Kaduna (North West), Gombe/Bauchi (North East), and Nasarawa (North Central).

The APC National Convention is slated to hold from Wednesday, March 25, to Saturday, March 28, 2026.

The process, conducted under Articles 11 and 17 of the APC Constitution, aims to elect party officials at all levels.
