U.S President, Donald Trump, has issued a stern warning to Iran, stating that any attack on American interests would result in the “full strength” of the U.S military being unleashed upon Tehran.
This statement comes as Israel has initiated a series of airstrikes targeting Iranian military and nuclear facilities, leading to significant casualties on both sides.
In a post on his Truth Social platform, President Trump emphasized that the United States had no involvement in Israel’s recent actions but made it clear that any Iranian aggression would be met with overwhelming force.
He stated, “If we are attacked in any way, shape, or form by Iran, the full strength and might of the U.S Armed Forces will come down on you at levels never seen before.”
The Israeli military’s operations began early Friday, targeting key sites in Iran.
In retaliation, Iran launched a missile barrage that struck several Israeli cities, including Bat Yam, south of Tel Aviv.
The conflict has resulted in numerous casualties and widespread destruction.
President Trump reiterated his position, stating that the U.S could facilitate a diplomatic resolution between Iran and Israel but warned that failure to engage in negotiations could lead to even more severe consequences.
He added, “We can easily get a deal done between Iran and Israel, and end this bloody conflict!!!”
The escalating situation has drawn international concern, with calls for de-escalation and renewed diplomatic efforts to prevent further bloodshed.
