The Chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has debunked reports circulating on social media that he issued a 21-day ultimatum to the Federal Government demanding the release of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

In a statement signed by his media consultant, Paul Bebenimibo, Tompolo dismissed the publication as false and malicious, stressing that he had no involvement whatsoever in any matter relating to Nnamdi Kanu.

“We wish to state unequivocally that High Chief Ekpemupolo did not author or approve the said publication. It is the handiwork of detractors trying to discredit him because of his strong commitment to ending illegal oil activities in the Niger Delta,” the statement read in part.

Bebenimibo added that those behind the fake report were bent on tarnishing Tompolo’s reputation but would not succeed, noting that his principal remains focused on fighting oil theft and pipeline vandalism in the region.

Reaffirming his loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, Tompolo expressed total support for the Renewed Hope Agenda and publicly endorsed the President for a second term in office.

The statement further appealed to both the Federal Government and the general public to disregard the misleading report, describing it as a baseless fabrication that does not represent Tompolo’s views or any official communication from his office.
